Fate and falls

Some people think of fate as not having a choice.

“It’s fate, there’s nothing you can do.”

Yesterday I came to realise that fate is less about choices, but rather acceptance.

Accepting that whatever happens happens for a reason.

That there is no best or worst possible scenario.

And accepting that whatever happens is for the best.

But it’s one thing to say that and another to actually put that into practise.

Feelings and stuff.

Hopes.

Expectations.

We all try to minimise our fall as much as we can.

But it’s so easy to fall the wrong way and we end up injuring something way worse.
